Supporting The Local Community

Lava Glass is committed to supporting the local community by contributing to fundraising efforts for local schools and charities, but also by lending a hand to increase the greenery in the Taupo community and promoting green urban development.

At the beginning of August Christine and Lynden helped Greening Taupo in their efforts to plant 9000 native trees on an area formally covered in pine trees on the corner of State Highway 5 and State Highway 1. It will be awesome to see the native wildlife return over the coming years 💚🌳
