'Griff's Great Kiwi Road Trip' at Lava Glass

In 2019 British comedian and travel enthusiast Griff Rhys Jones visited Lava Glass within the scope of filming a new travel documentary. For his new show 'Griff's Great Kiwi Road Trip', Griff is packing his bags, pulling on his hiking boots, and heading out into the wilds to explore New Zealand – from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. Griff spent one afternoon with Lynden in the Lava Glass Studio to give glassblowing a go.

'Griff's Great Kiwi Road Trip' is available on Sky, ABC in Australia, Prime and Neon TV in New Zealand and Channel Three in the UK. In the second episode from minute 25 onwards, you get a glimpse of the Lava Glass Sculpture Garden and Studio while Griff is trying to blow some glass.
