Ebb & Flow Small 11029
Ebb & Flow Small 11029. Depicting the patterns left on the tidal mudflats and sands where the retreating water has sculpted organic riverlets in the soft ground. The ivory sky in each piece is a reference to Lynden's connection to Aotearoa, the ‘Land of the Long White Cloud’.
An original piece of glass art. Excellently suited as a collector's item or interior design accent. Handblown by award-winning glass artist Lynden Over in his Lava Glass Studio in Taupo, New Zealand.
H 160 mm x W 160 mm x D 90 mm
The innovative process involved in creating these unique works requires Lynden to push traditional cane work beyond its historic boundaries. The process starts with creating many coloured canes of glass, picking them up in a vertical pattern, and finally twisting and massaging the glass until the lines turn into organic, horizontal patterns.
This Ebb & Flow is an exquisite piece of glass art conveying the art of nature. It is a unique little masterpiece, a real eye-catcher, signed and dated by Lynden Over. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
